What can I see in Baños?
When you arrive in Baños I suggest visiting the monastery of the “Virgin of Agua Santa”. Inside the church is possible to see paintings that describe different eruptions of the Tungurahua Volcano, which has been again in activity since 1999.

After we’ll do a stop at the viewpoint of “San Jorge” waterfall. Finally, we’ll arrive at the Rio Verde community to hike down to the well-known Devil’s Cauldron or “Pailón del Diablo” waterfall, where is already possible to see Amazon vegetation. If you love birds this is a hot spot to record many species of birds and especially the colorful Andean-cook-of-the Rock and some species of hummingbirds.
