The best things to do in Mindo in 3 days.

Travelers can visit Mindo in one day, but the most recommended option is a three-day tour with a private driver and transportation. So, on the first day, we leave Quito to the Intyñan Museum located in the middle of the World. After that, we visit the Pululahua Crater. We continue our trip to Mindo. In the afternoon we will visit the butterfly farm.

On the second day, we will go to the Sanctuary Waterfall. So that, to get to this place we will cross the Nambillo river by cable car and then we will make a 30 minutes walk to the waterfalls. After that, we will visit the Quetzal de Mindo in the afternoon, the most recognized place to see the chocolate elaboration process. Finally, on the third day, we will visit the orchid farm located in Cabañas Armonia. Return to Quito.

Las Terrazas de Dana

Mindo has numerous budget hotels and lodges that offered great services. However, I suggest you to staying at Las Terrazas de Dana. Without a doubt, an extraordinary place for relaxing. It is very clean, peaceful and lovely.

This privileged trip to Mindo is strongly recommended doing at least three days. However, you can also choose one of my itineraries for a more complete adventure. Don’t miss this incredible adventure!
